When money reaches your bank

Payout timing, schedules and history live in your own Stripe Dashboard — not in Gathrings.

When money reaches your bank

Gathrings has no payouts screen. There's no payout history, no schedule setting, and no "your money arrives on X" anywhere in the product. This is deliberate, and it's worth understanding why.

Your Stripe account is yours

Gathrings uses Stripe Standard accounts. That means the Stripe account is registered to your organization, not to us. You log into it directly, and you control it.

Everything about payouts therefore lives in Stripe, not here:

  • when payouts are sent (daily, weekly, monthly, manual)
  • which bank account they go to
  • payout history and individual transfers
  • any payout that failed, and why

Getting there

On Settings → Payments, click Open Stripe Dashboard. It opens in a new tab, logged into your own account.

What Gathrings does show you

Exactly one payout-related thing: the Payouts row on the Payments page, reading Enabled or Disabled. That's Stripe telling us whether your account is currently able to pay out.

Payouts: Disabled usually means no bank account is attached yet, or verification is outstanding. You can still be taking money — Charges: Enabled and Payouts: Disabled together mean payments are being collected and held in your Stripe balance until you resolve it.

What you can see in Gathrings instead

Revenue totals, not payouts:

  • Ticket sales for an event — go to the event, then Sales overview. Shows tickets sold, gross revenue, and net after fees. Figures are aggregate and pre-tax.
  • Donations for an organization — Settings → Donations shows total raised, one-time versus recurring, and active recurring donors.

These tell you what you've earned. Stripe tells you when it lands.

First payout

Stripe typically holds the first payout from a new account for several days while it verifies everything. That's Stripe's policy, not ours, and the timing is shown in your Stripe Dashboard.
