Message an organizer
Reach the people running a ring or event — who can message them, and why your message goes to the whole organizing team.
If you need to ask about an event — where exactly to meet, whether to bring something, whether there's still room — you can message the people running it.
Sending one
On the ring, organization or event, choose Message organizers. That opens a conversation and you can write straight away.
It also shows up in your Messages list under the Organizers filter.
Who can message organizers
You need to be a member or attendee. If you're not, you'll see:
You need to be a member or attendee to message the organizers.
Join the ring or RSVP to the event first, and the button becomes available. The rule keeps organizers' inboxes to people who are actually involved rather than anyone passing through.
Your message goes to the team
This is the part that surprises people: it isn't a private message to one person. It's a thread with all the organizers of that ring or event, and any of them can answer.
Choose View organizers to see who's in it.
That's deliberate. It means your question gets answered by whoever is free, rather than sitting unread because one person is away. It also means you shouldn't put anything in there you'd only want one of them to see.
What they can see
Organizers see your display name and profile photo, as they would on a guest list. Your email address is never shown.
Getting a reply
Replies arrive like any other message, and the Messages icon shows the unread badge.
Organizers are volunteers, mostly running communities around a job. If something's time-critical — you're outside and can't find the door — a comment on the event itself is often faster, since more people see it.
