0.21.0
Two big ones this time: tables that seat themselves, and the ability to block someone. Plus a Help menu and a round of polish.
New
Table seating, at check-in
If your gatherings have tables, Gathrings can now seat people as they arrive. You set it up right in the event form — how many sit at a table, how many tables you've got — and from there it's automatic: parties are kept together, tables fill so nobody's left sitting alone, and anyone who checks in sees their table straight away.
At the door you get a live view of the room. Watch it fill in real time, and move a guest to another table with a tap when you need to.
Block someone you'd rather not hear from
You can now block a person — they won't be able to connect with you or reach you — and manage everyone you've blocked from a new Blocked users list in Settings. Unblock from the same place, any time.
A Help link in the menu
The help centre is now one tap from the main menu, so answers are easier to find without leaving the app.
Improved
Donation prompts look the part
An organization's Donate button now sits inside a proper Support card, so the ask reads the way it's meant to rather than as a stray button.
Smaller touches
The category picker now clearly shows what you've picked, the feedback button wears the right brand colours, and a few badges and dialogs line up as they should — the Canceled badge on an event, and the footer of the move-a-guest dialog among them.
As ever, this is built on what you tell us. The board.
