0.18.0
Signing in to the app gets its own front door — plus a run of mobile fixes.
New
Native sign-in on the app
Until now the app leaned on your phone's browser to get you signed in. This release adds a proper in-app sign-in built for iOS and Android, so logging in — including with Google — happens inside the app and drops you back exactly where you were.
It's built to be careful with your account: the handoff asks your consent and is cryptographically tied to your device, so a sign-in can't be lifted and reused somewhere else.
Fixed
No more zoom when you tap a field (iOS)
Tapping into a text box on iPhone would yank the whole page into a zoom. Inputs are sized properly now, so the view stays put.
The chat box isn't hidden behind the tab bar
On phones, the message composer sat underneath the bottom navigation — you couldn't see what you were typing. It sits above it now.
The last member's menu isn't clipped
In a ring's member list, the menu on the bottom row was getting cut off by the edge of the list. It opens in full.
Feedback link goes somewhere
The feedback link in the footer now lands on the portal sign-in instead of a dead end.
Smoother on newer Android phones
Updated part of the Android build so the app runs properly on devices that use the newer 16 KB memory layout.
