Past (ended) events are being marked as canceled

An event that had already **ended** was automatically marked as **canceled**. The event page shows both "ENDED" and "CANCELED" badges and the notice "This event has been canceled" — even though the event simply took place and finished. **Where:** Event detail page for a synced/imported event (example: "Discussion: Postmodern Life" at Studio 42). **Evidence:** Status badges read `IN PERSON` · `ENDED` · `CANCELED` together, with a "This event has been canceled." banner, on an event whose start/end time is in the past. **Expected:** An event that has already ended should stay as ended/completed. It should not be marked canceled after it's over. **Steps to reproduce:** 1. Have an imported event that has already passed its end time. 2. Wait for the next sync. 3. The past event is marked "canceled" instead of staying "ended".
