iPhone photos uploaded as avatars / logos / event covers appear sideways

**What happens:** Photos uploaded from iPhones (and likely some Android phones) display sideways (rotated 90°) when used as a user avatar, organization logo, group logo, or event cover photo. The image content itself is correct; it's the orientation that's wrong. **Evidence:** A user uploaded a portrait photo from their iPhone as their avatar. The stored version is rotated 90° from how it looked in their phone's Photos app: https://images.gathrings.com/gathrings-images/avatars/15/avatar_256.webp **Expected:** the photo should display in the same orientation the user took it — portrait stays portrait, landscape stays landscape. Matches what they see in the iPhone Photos app before upload. **Where:** affects all four upload paths: - User avatars (registration + profile edit) - Organization logos - Group logos - Event cover photos **Repro:** 1. Take a portrait photo with an iPhone (default camera, hold phone vertically). 2. Upload that photo as your avatar (or org/group logo, or event cover). 3. Observe: the uploaded image is rotated 90° from how the photo looked on the phone.
